My goal as a voice teacher is to instill a healthy technique that allows my students to sing in multiple styles. I believe the foundation of healthy singing remains the same whether you are studying opera, musical theater, or pop music. I am passionate about helping my students become a complete package, and strive to make dramatic interpretation and musicianship an important part of study in addition to vocal technique. Audition and performance preparation is also a large part of my teaching-whether you are looking to audition for a solo at school, audition for fine arts programs, prepare your best 16 bars for musical theater auditions, or put on a recital or cabaret, I have the knowledge and experience to help you put your best foot forward. I graduated with both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Indiana University in Voice Performance, where I studied musical theater, opera, and vocal pedagogy.
